20 dreary ones

You ask me
"How are you feeling today?"
And I just laughed

How should I begin?
Oh, probably a line of sigh
Or, probably just 20 dreary ones

Much like spectating sunset on a rainy evening
Or having freeze out ice Slurpee
On a snowy Wednesday
Or throw me a royalicious meal
For that it tastes plain
Even if it tags along with vintage wine
I bet it is infested with worms
Wait, it does sound a bit disgusting now
Nevertheless, I should bounce out
From my couch now
I'm tired calming myself
With the same old songs
Putting my head out from the window
I count in my heart quietly
The days of me without you
Equaling almost
The days of me losing sleep
Even a herd of hopping baby sheeps
Can't put off the heart pounding feel
Of me missing you

With the very thought of you

My one foolish heart
It dances in the dark
Or quite a stairway to the stars
In the bewitching hours

If I had you
Would have cocktails for two
Within whispering leaves
In busy street of Manhattan

Overlooking portrait of Jennie
Beneath the yellow moon
Strumming away the September song
Come away with me
With the very thought of you

Sonnet No.17

Your eyebrow twitched
So I laughed
Your eyes are red
So my sky turns grey

Even the heaven lost its mind
Actually said
You're happy, so I'm happy too

Rain falls, roses bloom
What else do I want?
Want it badly but unattainable

Your hair is wet
So I'm feverish
You feel tired
So I sleep

MH 370

I said a prayer
For I can't stand
The tears of yours
It is all right
God must have heard
In vain, darkness enclosed
Keep faith, pray

A subway ride on New Year's Eve

Friendship is a subway
Crowded, profound, interesting
Some rides are short, long, halted
Hollowness remains, to find the missing piece

All these years, I have been searching
Still holding my foolish ticket
Perhaps leaving today, or tomorrow
Please, I just need an excuse
For the heart finally comes to rest

Keep calm, keep cool, keep tranquil
Still, tell me is the one here yet?
Need comfort, need cuddles, need love
Hope is there, nothing else

Hurry up, the sun is setting away,
Yet the train door opens,
Some ponder, some forget, some baffle
Hourglass laughs, waving farewell to time

Next stop, next station, next destination
Is there someone for you?
Or should I just wander around recklessly?
Till the day I bump on you
How natural, how spontaneous, how sweet

Rainbow Chord

Taking a sip, of the already cold coffee
As I drive across the endless freeway
She murmurs "Are we there yet?"
And a bright gleam shines and awakes us

Oh, the songs from the sky chord
Tickles away the solemn emotions,
Oh, the melodies of the rainbow chord
Never leave my side, stay with me forever

Now, we are still wandering
Directionless, in a slow pace
Put on your shoes, quick
As the wise rabbit is escaping to the east

Hold my hands, to the sunset we run
There is still time for us, ain't it?
An adult is complicated they say
So what, I'd been growing up the whole time

So, is this the end, no?
Wherever you are, I'm ready

If I could have my wishes back

On a nebulous late evening
With exiguous explorer's DNA in me
I push myself towards a dumpy small room
There lies an Arabic lamp
Legend might say it is enchanted
And Genie burst out, as audiences expected
I dare not to think twice for my wishes

I wish I adored beans
And if I were a twin
Or some day a fairy
Would just come walking in

Or snows would fall next winter
Just like they did in my dream
I wish they'd let me sing my heart out
On rainy afternoons

I wish that I could wake some morning
And they'd all come true

However
If I could have my wishes back
If wishes did come true

I would wish for laughter
And fill your life with lullaby
Then I would poke peaceful rest so hard
It will come visit you at night
Energetic and lovely, every bright morning
All for the calm on your face and know you're fine
Bring joy to this heart of mine

A walk in UTP

The first fable was hope and dreams
The second was departure
The next made me a poet
The fourth gave me traps and trials.
The fifth drama fetched me a fiery crisis

The sixth one was a combat for perfection
The seventh conceived the heaven's treasure,
The eighth turned me a flying man,
The ninth poem was when I touched the sky.

The tenth memoir was triumph,
Whatever I touched waxed into bona fide
Life is a journey, journey is poetry
A geyser of joy they say
What a delicate marvel it gave
When I was able to unravel.

So, keep going don't stop
As we are, the truly
Unsung heroes, of UTP

J. Gatsby

He had come such a long way
And his dream must have seemed so close
That he could hardly fail to grasp it
But he did not know
That it was already behind him

The orgastic future
That year by year recedes before us.
It eluded us then,
But that’s no matter

Tomorrow we will run faster
Stretch out our arms farther
For that one fine morning
So we beat on
Boats against the current
Borne back, ceaselessly
Into the past

A walk to New York

The first fable was hope and dreams
The second was departure
The next made me a poet
The fourth gave me traps and trials.

The fifth drama fetched me a fantabulous crunch
The sixth one was a combat for perfection
The seventh conceived the heaven's treasure
The eighth turned me a flying man
The ninth poem was when I touched the sky.

The tenth memoir was accomplishment
Whatever I touched became gold and alive
Life is a journey, journey is poetry
A geyser of joy they say
What a delicate marvel it gave
When I was able to unravel.
